Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nai Khanom Tom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glenn Watchdog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tom kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Shut your mouth. 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Glenn Watchdog! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Watchdog. Watchdog takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Watchdog fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tom avoids it really well and circles away. Watchdog shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Watchdog showed some decent athleticism there. Tom has his hands clasped together around Watchdog's back. He's all about the action. Tom looks like he's trying to stand up.
Watchdog throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Watchdog throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Watchdog lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tom blocking the ground and pound attempt from Watchdog. Watchdog thows a huge punch but Tom dodges it nicely.
Tom keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Watchdog not landing any meaningful shots this time. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Watchdog lands a nice short elbow. Watchdog not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Watchdog throws a strike but Tom avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Watchdog is looking to work some ground and pound but Tom has wrist control. Tom working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Watchdog. Tom is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Watchdog is controlling him. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Good standup being displayed there by Tom as he connects with a hook. Watchdog closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Watchdog looks gassed! Tom trying to control but Watchdog postures up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tom is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Watchdog is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Tom sees it coming and defends easily. Watchdog working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Watchdog looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Watchdog is thwarting Tom's attempts to control the position. Watchdog has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Watchdog throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Watchdog needs to keep his hands up - Tom had a free shot at his head there. Left hook, right uppercut from Tom. Watchdog throws a looping overhand right but Tom ducks down to avoid it. Tom fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Both fighters circling a little - Tom finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Glenn Watchdog dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Nice sprawl there from Tom as Watchdog shoots in. Tom feints and then cracks Watchdog's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Watchdog down. Watchdog fails to land the takedown. Tom bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Watchdog's head. Tom has closed the distance and engaged Watchdog in a clinch.

Tom is working for takedown but Watchdog is calmly controlling the position for now. Tom tries to break free but Watchdog pushes him back against the cage. Watchdog has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tom avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Nai Khanom Tom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Glenn Watchdog. Watchdog goes for a takedown in the clinch but Tom prevents it.
Tom breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tom shoots in but Watchdog avoids the takedown attempt easily. Watchdog closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tom circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tom's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Tom duly obliges. Tom stuffs the takedown. Watchdog on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Tom stalling in the clinch but Watchdog improves position. Watchdog is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Tom gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Watchdog is trying to maintain a safe position but Tom gets an underhook and turns Watchdog into the cage. Watchdog has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tom is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Tom breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Crunch! Tom slams his shin into Watchdog's torso. Tom throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Watchdog's waist but Watchdog gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tom off to one side. Watchdog circles away from the clinch attempt.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Watchdog shoots in and drives through. Tom sprawls well. Tom throws a head kick that Watchdog semi-blocks.
Watchdog will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Watchdog shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tom defends it nicely. Tom doesn't succeed with the takedown and Watchdog counters with a single leg into guard. Tom didn't expect that. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Watchdog thows a big elbow that misses. Watchdog working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Tom's head. Watchdog postures up in Tom's guard and throws a big left but Tom blocks it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Nai Khanom Tom will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Nai Khanom Tom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Glenn Watchdog. Tom's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Tom misses with a takedown and Watchdog counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Watchdog shoots in but no luck this time. Tom displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Watchdog. Nai Khanom Tom is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Watchdog keeps the fight on the outside. Watchdog tries to clinch but Tom moves away and Tom counters with a slapping leg kick. Watchdog shoots in for a double leg but Tom sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Tom circles away from the clinch attempt and Tom counters with a low kick, right behind Watchdog 's knee. Tom tries for a takedown but Watchdog circles away easily and Watchdog counters with a shoot takedown. Tom fights it but they end up in guard. Watchdog throwing strikes from guard but Tom blocks nicely. Watchdog trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Watchdog takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Nai Khanom Tom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Watchdog is defended easily by Tom. Watchdog has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Tom. Tom throws a head kick that Watchdog semi-blocks.
Tom slaps away a takedown attempt from Watchdog, before circling back to the center of the mat. Watchdog shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tom sprawls well. Tom wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Watchdog gets slowly back to his feet. Tom stuns Watchdog with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Watchdog tries to clinch and Tom counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Watchdog wants a takedown but no success here.
Tom breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
And that's the end of the fight! Glenn Watchdog comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Watchdog has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
