Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kai Tokugawa (ranked 421 p4p, 250 weight class) and Quentain Martell (ranked 54 p4p, 32 weight class). Tokugawa comes to the cage accompanied by Red Warrior. The crowd seem to be enjoying Martell's choice of entrance music: I Pledge Allegiance (Nate Dogg ft. Pharoahe Monch). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kai Tokugawa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Quentain Martell!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martell throws a jab when Tokugawa was well out of range.
Tokugawa looks to throw the jab but Martell is out of range.
Martell staying out of range there.
Martell swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Tokugawa bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Martell throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tokugawa counters with a straight right hand.
Tokugawa listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tokugawa throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
A decent looking cross lands there for Martell.

and Martell counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Tokugawa feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Tokugawa gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Martell takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Martell lands a high kick to the side of Tokugawa's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Martell dives into guard, looking to finish.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tokugawa wants to stand and escape but Martell is having none of it.
Martell is looking to work some ground and pound but Tokugawa has wrist control.
Tokugawa wants to get back to his feet but Martell is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Martell tries to free his leg and advance position but Tokugawa is retaining full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Martell throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Tokugawa works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Tokugawa is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Martell is controlling him.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Tokugawa trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Martell loads up on a big right hand but Tokugawa slips the punch.

and Martell counters with a nice uppercut.
Martell throws a jab but it's blocked by Tokugawa.
A combination from Tokugawa does no damage.
Martell looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Martell lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Martell connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Tokugawa pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Quentain Martell dominated that round.
That's time! Tokugawa's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Tokugawa throws a hook to the side of Martell's head but Martell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
A jab from Tokugawa finds it's way through Martell's defenses.
Tokugawa with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Martell takes one to the side of the head.
Martell misses with a left hand
and Tokugawa counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

and Tokugawa counters with a left and a right that stings Martell.
Tokugawa scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Martell slips a jab from Tokugawa.
And Martell tries to counter it with a takedown but Tokugawa pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Martell throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Tokugawa's head.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Martell.
You can see the frustration on Tokugawa's face as Martell controls the position.
Tokugawa wants to get back to his feet but Martell drags him back down.
Martell grinds an elbow into Tokugawa's temple.
Tokugawa wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tokugawa is pushing Martell's head away, looking to escape. Martell manages to hold on to the position though.
Martell cracks Tokugawa with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Martell immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Tokugawa is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Martell!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Quentain Martell!
