The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magomedov fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Magomedov gets tackled into the cage by Christie. Christie maintains the clinch.
Christie misses with the head strike.
Magomedov has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Christie uses from the top position.

Magomedov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Christie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Christie got a little sloppy there for a moment and Magomedov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Christie has managed to get both his arms back between Magomedov's legs - danger averted.

Magomedov has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Christie doesn't defend quickly enough and Magomedov has managed to lock this one up! Can Christie escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Magomedov on a fantastic submission victory.
