Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mao Feng!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alonso Jaldo!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Feng lands a really nice looking cross but Jaldo seems unphased.

Feng turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jaldo tried to score with a low kick but Feng checks it.
Feng was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

It looked like Feng was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jaldo.

Feng slips a jab and a cross from Jaldo.
Feng feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jaldo sprawling to the canvas! Jaldo rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Feng finish him?!
It looks like Alonso Jaldo has been cut.
Jaldo tries to keep at a distance but Feng has taken the fight into the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Feng breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Mao Feng dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Alonso Jaldo's cut.

A looping hook to the body misses from Jaldo. Feng does a little dance to reset his feet.
Feng lands a big head kick that sends Jaldo tumbling to the mat! Feng takes a step backwards and waves Jaldo back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Jaldo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Jaldo scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Feng has taken the fight to the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jaldo has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Feng seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Jaldo can turn it around.
