Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kelvin Santos (ranked 3235 p4p, 2612 weight class) and Puukko Miekka (ranked 156 p4p, 140 weight class). The key to victory for Kelvin Santos has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Kelvin Santos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Puukko Miekka!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Miekka moves away.
Miekka misses the shot to the body.
Santos swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Miekka shoots in and gets a takedown into Santos's guard.
Miekka trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Santos manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Santos tries to free his leg and advance position but Miekka is retaining full guard.
Miekka pulls Santos in close to his closed guard and prevents Santos from doing any damage or advancing position.
Let's hope that Miekka has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Miekka postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Santos is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Miekka, into his guard.

Santos is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Miekka is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Miekka has escaped and now he's on top!
Santos can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Miekka controls the pace.
We've been hearing good reports from Santos's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
