This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 1 losses; Baek Doo Kim! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Igor Prikhodko and Vladimir Khabensky.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kim. Kim tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fukumoto sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kim somewhat. Fukumoto closes the distance and clinches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fukumoto is trying to trip Kim. He has hold of a leg but Kim is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kim swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Fukumoto is now in Kim's guard. A big mistake from Kim there, giving up the dominant position!
