Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dominik Dlask (ranked 3641 p4p, 2779 weight class) and Benson Beckley (ranked 310 p4p, 257 weight class). Benson Beckley has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dominik Dlask's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dlask misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Beckley.

Beckley clinches.
Dlask is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Dlask tries to work over Beckley's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Dlask stalling in the clinch but Beckley improves position.

Beckley ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Beckley no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We've been hearing that Dlask has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Dlask postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Dlask throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Beckley works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Beckley has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dlask can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Beckley looks to score with a jab to the body but Dlask is just out of range.
Beckley throws a looping overhand right but Dlask ducks down to avoid it.
Beckley fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dlask manages to avoid it.
Beckley dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Beckley has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dlask finds it's way round the side to connect with Beckley's head.

Beckley takes the fight into the clinch.
Dlask is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Beckley tries to pull guard but Dlask forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Dlask swings wildly with an uppercut but Beckley uses good head movement to avoid it.

Beckley jumps guard and drags Dlask to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Beckley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dlask gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Dlask's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Dlask got a little sloppy there for a moment and Beckley has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dlask has managed to get both his arms back between Beckley's legs - danger averted.

Beckley seems to have recovered his senses.

Dlask thuds his right hand into Beckley's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Beckley moves forwards but Dlask connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Beckley ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Beckley replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Dlask blocks it well.
Beckley lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Beckley steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dlask.
Dlask throws a hook to the side of Beckley's head but Beckley sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dlask misses with a looping left.
Beckley is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Dlask with a body shot.
Beckley tries to clinch up.
Dlask throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Beckley sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Beckley throws a jab when Dlask was well out of range.
Beckley swings for the body but Dlask moves out of range.
Dlask throws a lazy right hand but Beckley sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dlask throws a hook but Beckley avoids it easily.
Beckley takes a swing at Dlask's ribcage but misses.
Beckley lands a head shot.
Beckley is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dlask.

It looked like Dlask was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Beckley.

Beckley let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Benson Beckley seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Beckley steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dlask.

Beckley lands with a big left! Dlask is wobbled badly! Beckley comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Dlask to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
