Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between DeShaun Holton Jr (ranked 2411 p4p, 2887 weight class) and Thomas Quessy (ranked 321 p4p, 374 weight class). Holton Jr comes to the cage accompanied by D12 - Purple Hills. Quessy has chosen NTM - Ma Benz as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Quessy scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Quessy working the ground and pound but Holton Jr is defending the strikes.
Quessy has hold of Holton Jr's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Holton Jr seems comfortable defending it but Quessy has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Holton Jr is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Holton Jr is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Quessy couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Thomas Quessy!
A relieved looking Thomas Quessy thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
