The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate instigates a clinch.
Montegriffo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Tate takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Montegriffo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tate takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Tate looks winded!
Tate bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Montegriffo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Montegriffo connects with a single shot there.
Montegriffo throws a good cross that connects.
Montegriffo works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
It looks like Brayden Tate has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tate takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Montegriffo closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Tate out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!

A less than humble Alexander Montegriffo misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
Brayden Tate was interviewed post fight and said 'I wanna thank all my fans for showing up I will come back stronger'.
