Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ji Hwan Bae!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Stanislaw Wolecki!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wolecki gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Bae blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Wolecki pulls guard effortlessly.
Wolecki has momentary wrist control but Bae slips an elbow through the middle.

Wolecki is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bae defends well.

Wolecki is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Wolecki had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bae defends it easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bae got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wolecki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bae has managed to get both his arms back between Wolecki's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bae is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Bae forces his way into half guard.
Wolecki is looking to improve his position.
Wolecki looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Bae really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bae is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Wolecki sees it coming and defends easily.

Bae is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Wolecki is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bae pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Wolecki is looking for a sweep. Bae is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Wolecki looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Bae pushes past his half guard into mount!

Bae looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Bae wants to finish this one by submission but Wolecki is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Bae.
Bae looking to control but Wolecki is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Wolecki defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Bae.
Wolecki bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

The ground and pound from Wolecki seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Bae is not content to let Wolecki control the position.
You can see the frustration on Bae's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Bae is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Wolecki is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Bae is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Wolecki off and has taken his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bae doesn't have the hooks in and Wolecki manages to turn into his guard.

Bae is breathing heavily.

Wolecki drops back looking for a leg! Bae is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bae manages to kick Wolecki off! Wolecki jumps back into Bae's guard.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Stanislaw Wolecki will probably get the nod.

Wolecki wants to control from the top but Bae keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wolecki must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Wolecki thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wolecki accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Bae is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Wolecki has his hands clasped together but Bae extends and breaks Wolecki's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Bae.
