The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yoshida throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
A little jabbing left from James on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
James blocks a head kick by Yoshida.
James slips a jab and a cross from Yoshida.
James throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Yoshida sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Yoshida tries to counter by clinching up but James breaks away and moves out of range.
James misses with a body shot.
James gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
A nice leg kick from Yoshida, right into the meat of the thigh.
Yoshida throws a front kick aimed at James's knee but James avoids it well.
A countering left hand to the body from James misses.
Yoshida uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by James.
Yoshida scores with a jab to the jaw.
James instigates a clinch.
Yoshida fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
James scores with a nice hook to the head.

James tries a body shot but Yoshida blocks it.
Yoshida's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
James lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Yoshida throws a head punch that misses.
Yoshida is looking to control James's arms but James gets an underhook and turns him. Now Yoshida has his back to the cage.
James takes a shot to the head.
James throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Yoshida misses with a short punch on the inside.
Yoshida misses with the head strike.
James lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Yoshida throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Jamess head.
James is rocked!
Yoshida throws a big uppercut that drops James! More strikes from Yoshida and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! James lies dazed against the cage as Yoshida celebrates with his cornermen!
