Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Johnny Waldron (ranked 20225 p4p, 2937 weight class) and Russell Northrop (ranked 210 p4p, 79 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 25 - 26 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Waldron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Russell Northrop!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Bruno Lombardi and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waldron is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Northrop looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Waldron misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Northrop.
Waldron cracks Northrop with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
It looks like Russell Northrop has been cut.
Waldron tries to clinch there but Northrop circles away.
Northrop swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Waldron forces Northrop back against the cage and clinches.

Northrop throws a lazy right hand but Waldron sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Waldron looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Northrop lands a lovely overhand right.
Waldron connects with a looping right hand.
Northrop takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Waldron looks for the body kick but Northrop saw that one coming.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Northrop! But no joy.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Northrop pushes Waldron away with a front kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Northrop tries to land a front kick but Waldron steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Northrop tries to throw a body punch but Waldron avoids it by throwing Northrop back against the cage.
Northrop lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Waldron throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Waldron pushes off an throws an elbow but Northrop leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Waldron throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

It seemed like Northrop was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Johnny Waldron has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The fight stays on the outside here - Waldron looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
An inside leg kick lands from Northrop.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Waldron throws a lazy body kick
and Northrop counters with a nice low kick that buckles Waldron's knee momentarily.
And that's the end of the fight!
Russell Northrop comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Northrop winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
