Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 14 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, Balthasar Van Thüringen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antwan Tran!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Thüringen scores with a nice strike.
It looks like Antwan Tran has been cut.
Tran uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Van Thüringen.
Van Thüringen thuds a left hand into Tran's body.
Van Thüringen jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tran looks like he wants to counter punch here.
A looping hook to the body misses from Van Thüringen. Tran does a little dance to reset his feet.
Tran throws out a counter right but Van Thüringen avoids it with no problem.

Van Thüringen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Van Thüringen lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Despite the aggression on Tran's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Tran takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Van Thüringen throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Tran takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Van Thüringen cracks Tran with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Tran tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Van Thüringen pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Tran is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Balthasar Van Thüringen!
Balthasar Van Thüringen bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
