Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hicks connects with a nice short shot to Sojka's temple.

Hicks is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Hicks seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Hicks working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Oh Sojka is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hicks is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Sojka is hurt! He's hurt bad - Hicks fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Sojka from any more punishment! Congratulations to Hicks! Great finish!

Clive Hicks tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
