Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Calvin Deane (ranked 443 p4p, 772 weight class) and Jeremy Cross (ranked 25 p4p, 20 weight class). Deane's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Cinderella Man. The crowd seem to be enjoying Cross's choice of entrance music: Folk Metal. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 32 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jeremy Cross!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Deane throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Deane tries to move into range but Cross moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Deane fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cross sprawls well initially but Deane persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Cross tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Deane's elbow.
Cross blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Cross wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Cross tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Cross breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cross drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Cross drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Deane right on the button. Deane goes down! Cross follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Cross gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeremy Cross!
After winning the bout, Jeremy Cross thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
