Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Celito Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Slam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gracie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Eye of the Tiger. Slam has chosen Fire it up as his entrance music. Celito Gracie looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in for a takedown but Slam shows good takedown defense.
Slam throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Slam fails to land with a series of punches.
Slam looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well.
Gracie shoots in and drives through. Slam sprawls well.
Slam misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Slam drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Gracie is breathing heavily.
Gracie is looking to regain half guard here but Slam keeps moving and retains side control.
Slam in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Slam moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Slam creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
It looks like Celito Gracie has been cut.
Gracie is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Slam wants to control but Gracie is keeping him busy.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Slam lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Slam working the head with strikes.
Slam scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Gracie to see if he's OK.
Slam is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gracie has escaped the position, nice work there.

Slam decides to stand back up. Slam steps back and let's Gracie get back to his feet.
Slam has taken the fight to the clinch.
Slam escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sam Slam seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slam feints and as Gracie raises his hands in defense, Slam changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Slam not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Slam slips nicely into half guard.
Gracie is looking to improve his position.
Slam thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gracie's head.
Slam thows a huge punch but Gracie dodges it nicely.
Gracie is pressing down on Slam's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Slam trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Slam avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Slam can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Slam sitting in guard here, content to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Slam trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.
Slam drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Slam jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Gracie looking for a sweep. Not yet Gracie, not yet.
Slam content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Slam lands a couple of elbows.

Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Slam can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie keeping full guard, as Slam tries to pass.
Slam avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Slam slips nicely into half guard.
Slam is looking to advance position but Gracie won't allow it.

Slam is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Slam is looking to take a break and control but Gracie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Gracie is pressing down on Slam's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Gracie can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Slam controls the pace.
Slam really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Slam wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving.
Gracie has momentary wrist control but Slam slips an elbow through the middle.
Gracie looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Slam doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Slam manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Slam lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Slam must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Slam stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Gracie manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Gracie swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
