Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brady Walker (ranked 4913 p4p, 4699 weight class) and Kyoji Horiguchi (ranked 229 p4p, 224 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brady Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kyoji Horiguchi!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Horiguchi blocks a head kick by Walker.
A nice inside leg kick there by Walker. That's going to slow Horiguchi down.
We've been informed that Horiguchi has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Horiguchi gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Brady Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Walker scores with a decent looking hook.
A telegraphed right hand from Horiguchi misses the target.
Walker throws a low kick, looking for Horiguchi's leg but Horiguchi calmly moves out of range.
Horiguchi unleashes a big counter combination but Walker bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

It seemed like Horiguchi was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Horiguchi fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Walker sprawls well initially but Horiguchi persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Walker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Horiguchi on the ground.
Horiguchi wants to pass the guard but Walker is defending well.
Horiguchi passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Walker!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Horiguchi lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Horiguchi looking to control but Walker is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Horiguchi throwing strikes here but Walker is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Walker wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Horiguchi.
Poor strikes thrown by Horiguchi there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Horiguchi is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Walker can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Kyoji Horiguchi dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Walker lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Horiguchi at a distance.
Horiguchi walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Walker scores with a jab. Horiguchi acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Walker connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Walker throws a hook but Horiguchi blocks it.
Horiguchi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Walker pinned against the cage. Walker gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Walker cracks Horiguchi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Walker throws a looping overhand right but Horiguchi ducks down to avoid it.
Horiguchi dives in for a single leg takedown but Walker sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Horiguchi throws a head kick but Walker moves out of range.
Kyoji Horiguchi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Walker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Walker wants it to stay on the feet.
Brady Walker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyoji Horiguchi.
Horiguchi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Horiguchi shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Walker lands a head shot.
Horiguchi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Horiguchi takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
It looks like Walker has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Horiguchi throws a fast counter high kick but Walker manages to duck under it in time.

Horiguchi lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Walker keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Horiguchi checks a leg kick.
Walker misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Horiguchi.

Horiguchi ducks under a wild hook from Walker.
Walker fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Horiguchi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Walker's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Horiguchi wants to control from the top but Walker keeps moving.
Horiguchi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Walker swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Horiguchi throws an elbow but Walker slips to the side and avoids it well.
Horiguchi works to advance to full mount. Walker defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Horiguchi wants to finish this one by submission but Walker is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Horiguchi.
Walker is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Walker on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Walker tries to get out of the position.

Horiguchi is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Walker to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Walker shrugs it off.

That was a close second round but I would say that Brady Walker will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Horiguchi has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Horiguchi there as he acknowledges the shot.
Horiguchi shoots in looking for a takedown but Walker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Horiguchi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Brady Walker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyoji Horiguchi.
Both fighters circling a little - Horiguchi finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Horiguchi moves forwards but Walker connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Horiguchi looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Horiguchi winds up and cracks Walker with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Walker is trying to stand back up but Horiguchi is controlling him

Horiguchi is trying to control. Walker wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Horiguchi might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Walker haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Horiguchi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Horiguchi swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
