Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nirmal Singh (ranked 2535 p4p, 25046 weight class) and Storm Father (ranked 229 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Nirmal Singh has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Nirmal Singh seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Storm Father!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Father moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Singh gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Singh has picked Father up - he's going for a ride! Singh dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Father pushes Singh off looking to stand but Singh dives back in and keeps control.

Father manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Singh keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Father tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Singh breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Singh lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Father backs up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Singh has managed to clinch.

Singh has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Father regains guard immediately.

Singh stops Father from standing up.
Father can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Singh controls the pace.
Father wants to stand up but Singh is controlling him.
Father wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Singh manages to pass to side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Father pushes Singh off looking to stand but Singh dives back in and keeps control.

Father is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Singh has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Father is tapping! This fight is all over!
