Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Archer (ranked 2604 p4p, 1989 weight class) and Michele Albertini (ranked 298 p4p, 237 weight class). Archer comes into the arena with Slipknot - Only One blaring out of the sound system. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonathan Archer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michele Albertini!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Albertini rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Archer counters with a thumping low kick.
Archer throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Albertini on the side of the head.
It looks like Michele Albertini has been cut.
Archer lands a big head kick that sends Albertini tumbling to the mat! Archer takes a step backwards and waves Albertini back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Albertini is rocked!
Albertini throws a good cross that connects.
Albertini is still on wobbly legs! Can Archer finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Archer throws a looping overhand right but Albertini ducks down to avoid it.
Albertini looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Albertini seems to have recovered his senses.
Albertini throws the left hand but Archer avoids the punch easily.
Albertini looks to throw the jab but Archer is out of range.
Albertini throws a hook but Archer avoids it easily.
Albertini keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Archer slips a jab from Albertini.
Archer bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Albertini loads up on a big right hand but Archer slips the punch.

Albertini throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
The fighters circling - Archer throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Archer swings for the body but Albertini moves out of range.
A shot to the body from Albertini misses
and Albertini takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
That has opened up Michele Albertini's cut even more.
Archer chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Albertini swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Archer connects with a leg kick.
Archer misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Archer tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Albertini was well out of range. Poor timing from Archer.
It seemed like Albertini was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Albertini avoids the body shot from Archer.
Albertini throws a hook to the side of Archer's head but Archer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Albertini misses with a shot to the body
and Archer counters with a nice right hand that sends Albertini toppling to the canvas! Albertini scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Archer finish him?!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Albertini gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jonathan Archer!
Jonathan Archer was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
