Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yuuki Gou and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richardson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Beasley.
Beasley scores with a sloppy right hand. Richardson should have avoided that one.
It looks like Paul Richardson has been cut.

and Beasley rattles Richardson with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Richardson tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Beasley dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Richardson stiff and motionless on the mat!
