Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zayden Petrov (ranked 2515 p4p, 3187 weight class) and Keshawn Garrett (ranked 223 p4p, 276 weight class). The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Ren Mimura and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Garrett.
Petrov bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Garrett fails in his attempt to clinch.
Petrov throws a series of punches but Garrett moves out of range.
Garrett avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Garrett throws a counter combo.

and Petrov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Keshawn Garrett has been cut.

Petrov tests Garrett's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Petrov moves out of range as Garrett strikes.
Petrov seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Garrett walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Garrett moves into range and clinches up with Petrov.

Petrov has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Garrett uses from the top position.
Garrett is sitting in close to Petrov's body. Petrov has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Garrett is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Garrett is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Petrov.
