Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adam Iason (ranked 5131 p4p, 3690 weight class) and Anderson Silva (ranked 530 p4p, 443 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anderson Silva!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iason fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Silva, pushing him back against the cage.
Silva tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Iason smiles and moves away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Silva is defended easily by Iason.
Iason gets a clinch.
Silva tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Iason's elbow.
Iason is trying to maintain a safe position but Silva gets an underhook and turns Iason into the cage.

I was talking to Iason's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
