Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Harold Porter (ranked 4176 p4p, 4193 weight class) and Borck Grogan (ranked 437 p4p, 438 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Harold Porter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Borck Grogan! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Damien Edna and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Porter closes the distance and clinches up with Grogan, looking for a takedown. Porter pushes Grogan against the ropes but Grogan circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Grogan shoots in for a double leg but Porter sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Grogan throws a right and a left that Porter avoids nicely. Grogan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Porter is looking for a counter combo. Porter closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Porter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Porter misses with a head kick.
Porter throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Porter shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Grogan as he jumps to the side. Grogan pushes Porter up against the ropes in a clinch. Grogan is trying to force a seperation but Porter has the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Porter manages to break the clinch.
Grogan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Grogan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Porter is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Grogan. Harold Porter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Borck Grogan. Grogan scores with a spinning back kick! Porter shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Porter misses with a takedown and Grogan counters by clinching up. Porter's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Porter checks a low kick from Grogan. Porter moves into the clinch successfully.
Grogan swings away with an uppercut that misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grogan blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Grogan is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though. Grogan drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Grogan is looking to take this one to the mat. Porter has Grogan pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Grogan manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Grogan ties up his opponent against the ropes and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Grogan no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Porter trying to control but Grogan is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Grogan looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Porter puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Grogan is refusing to be controlled, as Porter sits in half guard. Porter not doing much here.
Porter is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Grogan has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Porter wants to pass to mount but Grogan is defending the position. Porter is thwarting Grogan's attempts to control the position. Grogan keeping control of the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Porter tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Grogan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Grogan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Grogan fails with a takedown attempt. Grogan is trying hard to land a takedown here. Porter sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Porter shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Grogan tries to close the distance and clinch but Porter swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Grogan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Porter paws at him with a jab and circles away. Grogan misses with a takedown and Porter cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Borck Grogan has been cut. A telegraphed right hand from Porter misses the target. Grogan moves out of range as Porter throws a body kick.
Grogan changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Porter looking to score a takedown here. Grogan is defending well but Porter drives through and ends up in Grogan's guard. Porter trying to control but Grogan is working from the bottom. Grogan pulls Porter in close to his closed guard and prevents Porter from doing any damage or advancing position.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Grogan keeping moving, preventing Porter from controlling successfully. Grogan pulls Porter in to control the position. Grogan controls Porter momentarily but Porter frees himself. Grogan is looking to sweep but instead, Porter has passed into half guard.
Grogan pushes Porter off looking to stand but Porter dives back in and keeps control.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Porter is working for a kimura but Grogan is defending it quite comfortably.
Porter stands up from half guard. Grogan shoots in but no luck this time. As Grogan tries to get set, Porter tries to push him back and clinch up but Grogan manages to avoid the attempt. Grogan shoots in looking for a takedown but Porter manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Grogan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Porter shoots in for a double leg but Grogan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Grogan gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Grogan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Porter is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. With the fighters up against the ropes, Grogan throws an elbow but misses. Grogan is trying to force a seperation but Porter has the dominant position.
That's eight minutes gone in the round. Porter manages to break the clinch.
Grogan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Grogan tries to sprawl but Porter drives through with a takedown into half guard. Porter wants to take a breather but Grogan is having none of it. Porter is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Porter performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Porter wants to pass the guard but Grogan is defending well. Porter thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Grogan's head.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Porter is nestled in close to Grogan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Porter wants to control but Grogan is keeping him busy. Porter passes the guard and advances to mount! Porter looking to secure an arm triangle but Grogan defends it well. Porter controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Porter lands a nice shot to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Harold Porter showed his dominance in that final round. I think Porter has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
