Herny misses with a lunging right hand
and Karim counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Alexis Herny has been cut.
Herny doesn't manage to clinch there - Karim circles away.
Herny's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Herny duly obliges.
It looks like Nurlan Karim has been cut.
Karim lands a big uppercut and Herny crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Herny looks OK. Karim waves Herny back to his feet!
Herny is rocked!

Karim closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Herny out cold! Herny corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.

After the fight, Nurlan Karim was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
