Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 47 - 68 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 41 - 74 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kulata Bitok! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Bitok shoots in for a double leg but Buktot sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bitok tries to sprawl but Buktot drives through with a takedown into half guard. Bitok is looking for a sweep. Buktot is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Buktot not doing much here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bitok wants to control but Buktot is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bitok missing with punches from the bottom.
Bitok is trying to maintain the position but Buktot is very close to passing his half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Buktot in particular looking to stall.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Bitok tries to sprawl but Buktot drives through with a takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buktot with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Bitok desperately trying to maintain half guard. Buktot controlling the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bitok preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Bitok trying to control but Buktot postures up.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Buktot stuffs the takedown attempt from Bitok. Bitok gets slowly back to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buktot shoots in for a takedown and gets it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dawindi Buktot dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Buktot shoots in looking for a takedown but Bitok manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Buktot's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Horrible takedown attempt by Buktot or perhaps it was just good defense by Bitok, which made it look bad. And Bitok responds with a good body kick, but Buktot manages to step out the way in time. Bitok shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Buktot manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot trying to keep a closed guard but Bitok is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bitok showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buktot shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bitok but Bitok pushes him off and we're back to square one. Bitok counters with a body kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dawindi Buktot. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bitok drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Bitok working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bitok is in close to Buktot's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Buktot has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Bitok has passed into side control.
Bitok controlling the position. Buktot parries the strikes from Bitok easily there. Bitok is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Buktot to escape.

Kulata Bitok showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round! Bitok shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Buktot defends it nicely. Buktot shoots in for a takedown but Bitok shows good takedown defense. Bitok swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bitok as he jumps to the side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Buktot. No joy for Bitok on that attempt. Buktot misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dawindi Buktot. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bitok shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Buktot sprawls well. Buktot wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bitok gets slowly back to his feet. It appears Buktot was looking to counter with a kick there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Bitok looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Buktot is looking to counter with a body kick. Bitok dives in and grabs Buktot's left leg, looking for a takedown. Buktot pushes down on Bitok's head and hops out. Buktot fails with the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bitok fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Buktot tried to counter with a leg kick but Bitok avoided it. Bitok shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Buktot pinned against the cage. Buktot gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Buktot quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bitok misses with an attempted mid kick.
Bitok fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Buktot avoids it really well and circles away. Buktot quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bitok misses with a takedown and Buktot counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
And that's the end of the fight! Dawindi Buktot showed his dominance in that final round. Well Buktot has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
