Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 23259 p4p, 23276 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 46 - 62 - 13, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 63 - 54 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Buut shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mibangon's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
It looks like Buut might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Horrible takedown attempt by Buut or perhaps it was just good defense by Mibangon, which made it look bad.
Mibangon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Buut's waist but Buut gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mibangon off to one side.
Despite the aggression on Buut's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mibangon is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Buut has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Buut throws a body kick that misses.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Walay Buut will probably get the nod.
That's time! Mibangon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Buut misses with a takedown attempt - Mibangon sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mibangon manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Buut on his heels. He'll look to pass Buut's guard now, I'm sure.

Mibangon seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Buut for as long as he can get away with.

Buut slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Mibangon shoots in and drives through. Buut sprawls well.

Mibangon shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Buut is trying to defend but Mibangon finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Mibangon seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Mibangon looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mibangon is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Mibangon prevents Buut from improving his position.
Mibangon controlling the pace.
Buut manages to get to full guard.

Mibangon sitting in guard, not really doing much.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Mibangon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Buut as he jumps to the side.

Mibangon drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Buut has control of Mibangon's left arm, preventing Mibangon from doing any damage.
Buut bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mibangon's guard.
Minatay Mibangon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Walay Buut is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Mibangon wants to hit a sweep here but Buut passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Mibangon there!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Mibangon tries to hold on but Buut postures up.
And that's the end of the fight!
Minatay Mibangon showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Buut has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
