Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Xi Daerji!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beckley shoots in and drives through. Daerji sprawls well.
Daerji gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Daerji really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Beckley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Beckley is on top in guard.

Beckley shoots in for a takedown but Daerji shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Beckley goes for a double leg but Daerji avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Daerji continues to drive forward.
Daerji is trying to break the clinch but Beckley is controlling him.
Beckley gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Daerji regains guard.

Daerji has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
Daerji is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
