Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kenny Mason (ranked 2014 p4p, 1888 weight class) and Tony Taxi (ranked 196 p4p, 181 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenny Mason!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tony Taxi!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taxi displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Mason.
Mason misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Mason shoots in for a takedown but Taxi shows good takedown defense.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kenny Mason. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mason swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Taxi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Mason is trying hard to land a takedown here. Taxi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Tony Taxi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Taxi counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Mason tried to counter with a leg kick but Taxi avoided it.

Mason tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Taxi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Taxi throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mason stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Taxi takes a swing at Mason's ribcage but misses.
Mason went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Mason shoots for a takedown but Taxi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Mason wants to clinch.
Taxi appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Mason tries to score a power double leg takedown but Taxi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mason somewhat.
Mason is breathing heavily.
Taxi throws a hook but Mason blocks it.

Taxi is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Mason rather than just go for the knockout.

Taxi cracks Mason on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Mason falls backwards against the cage. Taxi follows up with more strikes that drop Mason to his knees. Taxi keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Mason! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tony Taxi!
