Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Oliver Kolar (ranked 1960 p4p, 1577 weight class) and Felipe Montoya (ranked 177 p4p, 141 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Oliver Kolar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Felipe Montoya!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montoya uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kolar.
Montoya defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Kolar.

Montoya throws a looping overhand right but Kolar ducks down to avoid it.

Kolar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A relieved looking Oliver Kolar thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
