Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brenden Mcmillan (ranked 3663 p4p, 4842 weight class) and Evanilson Canhoto (ranked 162 p4p, 175 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brenden Mcmillan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Evanilson Canhoto! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Canhoto takes a shot right to the bread basket. Canhoto takes the fight into the clinch. Canhoto tries to work over Mcmillan's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Canhoto throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Mcmillans head. Canhoto blocks an elbow strike from Mcmillan.

But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mcmillan, into his guard.

Canhoto is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Canhoto slips nicely into half guard. Mcmillan is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Canhoto's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Canhoto's back! Mcmillan will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Mcmillan has the hooks in. Canhoto is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Canhoto felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Mcmillan is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Canhoto is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Mcmillan screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
