Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Flip De Floor (ranked 2911 p4p, 2175 weight class) and Boris Piekny (ranked 315 p4p, 250 weight class). Boris Piekny told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Flip De Floor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Boris Piekny!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Kavanagh and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piekny fails to land the takedown.
De Floor throws a quick counter head kick but Piekny was just out of range.
A kick lands to the mid section there for De Floor.
De Floor lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
De Floor looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Piekny avoids the head kick by De Floor.
Piekny walks into a stiff left hand from De Floor.
Piekny walks into a jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
De Floor throws a nice inside leg kick.
De Floor throws a head kick that misses.
De Floor is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Piekny.
De Floor really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
De Floor gets in close and instigates a clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Piekny has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

De Floor gets through Piekny's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Piekny tries to pull guard but De Floor holds him up against the cage and eventually Piekny drops back down to his feet.

De Floor lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Piekny backwards.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, De Floor creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Piekny jumps guard but De Floor stands there with Piekny around his waist. Piekny gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Flip De Floor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Boris Piekny.

Piekny tries to pull guard but De Floor forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
De Floor pushes Piekny back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

De Floor lands a shoulder strike.
A short body shot lands from De Floor as the two fighters clinch.
Piekny looks winded!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

De Floor lands a big right hand that drops Piekny! The killer instinct kicks in and De Floor finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by De Floor!
