Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Magilla Gorilla (ranked 1592 p4p, 974 weight class) and Mickey Mfer (ranked 139 p4p, 94 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Magilla Gorilla!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mickey Mfer!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Mfer throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mfer connects with a right hand. Gorilla shakes it off.
Mfer avoids the body shot from Gorilla.
Mfer leaves Gorilla with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Gorilla shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Mfer napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gorilla is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Mfer wants to get up but he can't break Gorilla's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Gorilla shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mfer as he avoids it easily.
Gorilla dives in for a single leg takedown but Mfer sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Mfer throws out a counter right but Gorilla avoids it with no problem.
Gorilla definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

I've got Mfer winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
