Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bauer swats away the attempt to clinch by Schaeffer.
Schaeffer shoots for a double leg takedown but Bauer sprawls well. He's pushed Schaeffer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Schaeffer fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Schaeffer misses with a takedown attempt - Bauer sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ignatia Schaeffer. That's going to take a lot out of him.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Schaeffer changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bauer tries to avoid it but Schaeffer manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bauer to the ground. Bauer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Good exchange - Bauer coming out on top.

Schaeffer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Schaeffer throws a chopping leg kick but Bauer manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Bauer lands a really nice looking cross but Schaeffer seems unphased.
Bauer throws a right and a left that both miss.

Bauer throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Bauer goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Bauer uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Schaeffer.

Bauer tries to keep at a distance but Schaeffer has taken the fight into the clinch.
Schaeffer tries to break the clinch but Bauer is controlling the position.
Schaeffer is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Schaeffer drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bauer pulls his leg out and moves away.
Schaeffer fails with the takedown.
Bauer throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Schaeffer colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Bauer as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Schaeffer is left battered and dazed whilst Bauer and his camp cheer!
