Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Rotel (ranked 3132 p4p, 2723 weight class) and Nash Bond (ranked 161 p4p, 144 weight class). Nash Bond has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricky Rotel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nash Bond! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rotel fails to land with a series of punches.
Rotel waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bond. A little jabbing left from Bond on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Bond is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rotel. Bond moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Rotel throws a looping overhand right but Bond ducks down to avoid it. Bond looks like he wants to counter punch here. Rotel falls off balance throwing a combination
and Bond counters with a one-two to the body. Rotel really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rotel throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bond throws out a counter right but Rotel avoids it with no problem. A punch combination from Rotel misses. Bond unleashes a big counter combination but Rotel bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Rotel throws an overhand right that lands on Bond's shoulder, as Bond tries to avoid the shot. Bond swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bond tries to bum rush Rotel with a series of wild strikes but Rotel uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Rotel has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Rotel throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bond. Bond looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Rotel misses with a two punch combination.
Bond has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. A right-left combo lands from Rotel.
It looks like Nash Bond has been cut. Rotel misses with a double jab.
Bond throws a lazy uppercut
and Rotel counters with a one-two to the body. Rotel throws a series of punches but Bond moves out of range. Rotel misses with a combination
enabling Bond to counter with a crisp jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bond gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Bond uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rotel. Bond misses with a right hand and Rotel counters with a nice uppercut. Rotel misses with a double jab
and Bond counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Rotel drops Bond with a beautiful combination! Bond stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rotel is looking for the KO!
That has opened up Nash Bond's cut even more. Rotel keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bond. Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Rotel! Bond is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!
