Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Springsteen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Springsteen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Badlands. Morgan has chosen Kid Rock - American Badass as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bruce Springsteen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aaron Morgan! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Springsteen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Springsteen connects with a nice short shot to Morgan's temple. Springsteen seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Springsteen with the ground and pound but Morgan uses the opportunity to regain guard. Springsteen thows a big elbow that misses. Morgan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Morgan controls Springsteen momentarily but Springsteen frees himself. Springsteen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Morgan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Springsteen, into his guard. Morgan wants to control from the top but Springsteen keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Springsteen looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Morgan puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Springsteen actively working from the bottom here. Springsteen looks like he's trying to stand up.
Springsteen wants to get back to full guard. Morgan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Springsteen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Morgan perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Morgan wants to work for an arm triangle but Springsteen is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Morgan is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Springsteen has managed to free his arm - good work. Springsteen is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Springsteen wants to get back to his feet.
Springsteen manages to escape and get back to his feet! Springsteen shoots in and drives through. Morgan sprawls well. Morgan fails with a takedown attempt. Springsteen fails to land with a series of punches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Excellent takedown into side control there by Morgan. Springsteen manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Morgan is looking for a kimura but Springsteen is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Morgan to get the leverage. Morgan is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Springsteen tries to kick Morgan off in order to stand up. Morgan Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Springsteen explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Morgan closes the distance and clinches.

Springsteen stuffs the takedown attempt from Morgan. Morgan gets slowly back to his feet. Springsteen wants to clinch and Morgan counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Morgan. Springsteen is trying to break free. Morgan lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Springsteen has had enough of the clinch but Morgan keeps him there for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Springsteen wants to break free but Morgan has control.
Springsteen has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Morgan avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruce Springsteen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Morgan jumps guard.

Morgan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Springsteen kicks Morgan off and gets to his feet. Springsteen throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Morgan has picked Springsteen up - he's going for a ride! Morgan dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Springsteen wants to get back to his feet. Springsteen wants to get back to full guard but Morgan has mounted him! Morgan prevents Springsteen from getting the reversal. Springsteen is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Springsteen can't escape the position.
Springsteen sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Springsteen has one foot on Morgan's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Springsteen misses with a double jab
and Morgan counters with a single leg into guard. Springsteen didn't expect that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Springsteen wants to stand but Morgan is controlling the position. Morgan stands up from guard. Let's bang! Springsteen with a lazy takedown attempt and Morgan counters with a takedown into side control. Morgan is looking to take a break and control but Springsteen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Aaron Morgan has got the better of the ground game so far. Springsteen prevents Morgan from improving position. Springsteen tries to escape but Morgan is in control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Springsteen might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Springsteen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Morgan wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Morgan content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Springsteen tries to clinch and Morgan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Springsteen's guard now. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Springsteen striking off his back but it's not causing Morgan any problems. Morgan trying to control the position from guard on top but Springsteen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aaron Morgan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Springsteen throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Springsteen is trying to get back to his feet. Springsteen looks to move to half guard but instead Morgan has passed into mount! Damn! Springsteen is in all sorts of trouble here.
Springsteen is working hard here to advance position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Springsteen wants to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. Springsteen swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing. Morgan has control of Springsteen's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Springsteen regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Morgan looking to break Springsteen's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Springsteen remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Morgan will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Bruce Springsteen has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Morgan doesn't have the hooks in and Springsteen manages to turn into his guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Springsteen content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Springsteen wants to get up but he can't break Morgan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Springsteen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Morgan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Springsteen has Morgan in his guard. Springsteen throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Springsteen wants to stand and escape but Morgan is having none of it. Morgan postures up in Springsteen's guard and throws a big left but Springsteen blocks it. Springsteen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Morgan! Springsteen thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. A nice elbow there by Springsteen. Aaron Morgan is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Springsteen is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Morgan is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Morgan flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Springsteen anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Morgan and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Springsteen slips an arm under Morgan chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Springsteen has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Springsteen is squeezing on Morgan like an anaconda would it's prey. Morgan fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
