Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 15 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Bispen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pudd Nelson! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nelson slips a jab from Bispen. Nelson defending well as Bispen loads up on a big left hand. Bispen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nelson. A nice side step and Nelson releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Bispen throws a shot from downtown. Nelson moves away and avoids it. Nelson jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Bispen slips a straight right by Nelson. Bispen on the wrong end of a nice hook. Bispen throws a hook to the side of Nelson's head but Nelson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Nelson clinches up with Bispen and pushes him back against the cage. Nelson scores with a shoulder strike. A short body shot lands from Nelson as the two fighters clinch.

You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Bispen. Nelson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bispen. Bispen throws out a loose jab but Nelson uses good head movement to avoid it. Bispen stuns Nelson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nelson connects with a looping right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bispen leaves Nelson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Bispen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Nelson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Bispen throws a hook to the side of Nelson's head but Nelson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Bispen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Bispen missing with a left hand there. Nelson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Nelson has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Ivan Bispen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nelson connects with a high kick. Bispen circles away from the clinch attempt.
