Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between George Pierre (ranked 5075 p4p, 2592 weight class) and Hasbulla Magomedov (ranked 317 p4p, 215 weight class). Pierre's entrance music is O Canada. A fine choice. Magomedov has chosen Roy Jones Jr - Can't be Touched as his entrance music. Hasbulla Magomedov has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Magomedov slips a jab and a cross from Pierre.

Pierre cracks Magomedov with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Pierre tries to bum rush Magomedov with a series of wild strikes but Magomedov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Pierre cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Pierre takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Pierre slaps away a takedown attempt from Magomedov, before circling back to the center of the mat.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Pierre enables Magomedov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pierre manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Pierre got a little sloppy there for a moment and Magomedov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pierre has managed to get both his arms back between Magomedov's legs - danger averted.

Magomedov is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Pierre has his hands clasped together but Magomedov extends and breaks Pierre's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Magomedov.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Hasbulla Magomedov!
