Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Del Salar (ranked 2079 p4p, 797 weight class) and Noah Gordon (ranked 237 p4p, 106 weight class). Del Salar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Del Salar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Noah Gordon!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Glass and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salar throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gordon sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Gordon takes a jab right on the kisser.
Salar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gordon wants to counter with a clinch but Salar pushes him away.
Salar connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gordon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Salar misses with an uppercut.
Salar scores with a hook to the body. Gordon takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

It looks like Salar has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

That was a close second round but I would say that Del Salar will probably get the nod.

Del Salar showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Salar, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
