And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eduardo Parera!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Joseph Jones and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khattab takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Parera scores with a punch to the head.
Khattab closes the distance and pushes Parera back into the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Parera.
Come on Khattab - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Khattab takes a shot to the head.
Khattab prevents a body shot from Parera.
Khattab jumps into guard, dragging Parera to the mat.
Parera stands up and waves to Khattab to follow him.
Khattab will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Parera digs a good hook to Khattab's body.
Eduardo Parera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Khattab on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Parera lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Khattab blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Parera tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Khattab's elbow.
Khattab has clasped his hands together around Parera's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Parera parries the strikes from Khattab easily there. Khattab is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Parera to escape.
Khattab lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Parera down.
Khattab throws an elbow but Parera slips to the side and avoids it well.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Khattab misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
