Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clark Luna (ranked 4504 p4p, 5203 weight class) and Ahmad Safwan Ii (ranked 377 p4p, 412 weight class). Ahmad Safwan Ii will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ahmad Safwan Ii!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luna pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Safwan Ii tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Luna paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Luna misses with a two punch combination.
Safwan Ii pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Luna throws a head kick that misses.
Safwan Ii gets caught napping as Luna dives in and scores a takedown. Safwan Ii manages to retain guard.
Luna is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Luna drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Luna seems to have locked his on tight now - Safwan Ii screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Luna, as he picks up the win!
