Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ricky Sweet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Preston Foster!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sweet lands with a straight right. Foster didn't see that one coming.
Sweet moves into range and clinches up with Foster.

I was talking to Sweet's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Sweet on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Foster using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sweet has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Sweet pushes off an throws an elbow but Foster leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

and Sweet counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That has opened up Preston Foster's cut even more.

Sweet blocks a head kick by Foster.

Foster tries to close the distance and clinch but Sweet swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Foster takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
A short right from Sweet.
Sweet lands a left hand.
Foster lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Foster stalling against the cage.
Foster takes an elbow to the forehead.
Foster is rocked!
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Foster is still on wobbly legs! Can Sweet finish him?
Sweet pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Foster! Sweet unloads with more strikes and Foster sinks to his knees! This one is all over!
