The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Nakamura forces Tijhoff back against the cage and clinches. Tijhoff is looking for a takedown. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tijhoff with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Tijhoff's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nakamura has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tijhoff is working away from the top position though.
And that's the end of the fight! Tijhoff takes the fight on points by 5 to 0. Klaas Jan Tijhoff really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Nevermore Clothing Co logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty. |
