Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kelvin Poon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kichii Miyazawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Poon's entrance music is Wavin' Flags. A fine choice. Kelvin Poon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kelvin Poon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kichii Miyazawa! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miyazawa takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Poon thows a body shot but no joy. Miyazawa swats away the attempt to clinch by Poon. Miyazawa swats away the attempt to clinch by Poon. Miyazawa looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Poon tries to close the distance and clinch but Miyazawa swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Poon closes the distance and clinches. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Miyazawa as Poon tries to tie him up. Miyazawa looking for a takedown. Poon tries to break free but Miyazawa pushes him back against the ropes. Poon gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Poon unloads a knee to the mid-section. Miyazawa has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Poon avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Miyazawa taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Miyazawa takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Miyazawa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Poon has managed to clinch.
Poon gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Miyazawa.
Kelvin Poon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kichii Miyazawa. Miyazawa manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miyazawa keeps the fight on the outside. Miyazawa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Poon swats him away and circles back towards the center. Miyazawa tries to clinch up but Poon circles away and keeps his distance. Miyazawa circles away from the clinch attempt and Miyazawa counters with a head kick. That will keep Poon thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Poon shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Poon looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Poon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Poon keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Miyazawa trying to control here.
Miyazawa tries to kick Poon off but Poon keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Miyazawa tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poon perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Miyazawa is trying to get back to full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Miyazawa shoots in for a takedown but Poon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Nice defenses there by Miyazawa. Miyazawa decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Poon tries to get to full guard but Miyazawa has control of the leg. Miyazawa wants to free his trapped foot but Poon is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Poon is looking to control Miyazawa's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Poon avoid being mounted? Poon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Miyazawa is looking to stall here but Poon recovers full guard. Poon keeping full guard, as Miyazawa tries to pass. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kelvin Poon dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Miyazawa closes this distance looking for a takedown but Poon circles away. Miyazawa gets the takedown into side control. Poon tries to bench press Miyazawa off him but Miyazawa keeps the position. Sloppy strikes there by Miyazawa. Miyazawa trying to control the position but Poon is working away. Miyazawa decides to stand up, so the ref orders Poon to his feet. Miyazawa throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Poon's waist but Poon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Miyazawa off to one side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miyazawa shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Miyazawa showed some decent athleticism there. Poon tries to roll over but Miyazawa keeps him under control. Miyazawa trying to mount his opponent but Poon defends it. Poon is trying to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Poon desperately trying to maintain half guard. It looks like Miyazawa is going to stand back up.
Miyazawa is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poon wants to control but Miyazawa is keeping busy.
Miyazawa throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Miyazawa throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Miyazawa takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Miyazawa ducks under a wild hook from Poon. Poon closes the distance and clinches. Miyazawa takes an elbow to the forehead.
It looks like Kichii Miyazawa has been cut. Poon missing with knees to the body.
Miyazawa looking to stall.
Poon has Miyazawa pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Poon pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Miyazawa tumbling to the mat - Poon dives into Miyazawa's guard. Poon stays in close to Miyazawa's body and controls the position. Poon postures up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Kelvin Poon will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Kichii Miyazawa's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!
Poon darts in trying to clinch and Miyazawa counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Poon! Miyazawa cracks Poon with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Poon can't escape the position.
Poon is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Miyazawa can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Poon is looking to escape. Poon gets back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Miyazawa wants to control but Poon is keeping him busy. Miyazawa trying to pass the guard but Poon defending well. Miyazawa stalling away here and it's allowed Poon to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Poon working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Miyazawa.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Miyazawa stands up from guard. Let's bang! Miyazawa circles away from the clinch attempt and Miyazawa counters with a series of strikes. Poon will be more careful next time no doubt. Miyazawa circles away from the clinch attempt and Miyazawa counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Poon's guard now. Miyazawa pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Poon is keeping the position for now. Miyazawa thows a big elbow that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miyazawa throws and elbow that misses. Poon uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Miyazawa's guard. Nice move by Poon! Miyazawa wants to sweep but no luck. Miyazawa throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Kichii Miyazawa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Miyazawa takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Miyazawa looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Miyazawa is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Kelvin Poon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Miyazawa looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Poon wants to get back to his feet but Miyazawa is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
And that's the end of the fight! Kichii Miyazawa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Poon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
