The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daerji cracks Fukado with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Fukado misses with a two punch combination.
Fukado definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Fukado stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fukado wants it to stay on the feet.

Daerji only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Daerji shoots in for a takedown but Fukado shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Fukado decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Daerji tries to get to full guard but Fukado has control of the leg.

Daerji escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fukado gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Fukado is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Daerji really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fukado. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Fukado stops Daerji from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fukado is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Fukado not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Fukado fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Daerji, pushing him back against the cage.

Fukado has picked Daerji up - he's going for a ride! Fukado dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Daerji scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Fukado manages to mount him!
Daerji is just holding on here. Fukado manages to take his back.
Fukado is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Fukado has control of Daerji's left arm, preventing Daerji from doing any damage.
Daerji tries to free his leg and advance position but Fukado is retaining full guard.
Daerji is looking to stand up but Fukado won't let him.
Fukado pulls Daerji in close to prevent any damage.
Fukado is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Daerji tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Fukado cranks the arm and Daerji screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Daerji, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
