Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Xavierntreal Couture (ranked 702 p4p, 72 weight class) and Uche Igwe (ranked 46 p4p, 4 weight class). Uche Igwe told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Xavierntreal Couture!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Uche Igwe!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture lands with a nice body punch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Igwe moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
It looks like Xavierntreal Couture has been cut.
Couture scores with a body shot.
Couture ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Igwe moves away.
Couture tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Igwe looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Igwe throws a jab but it's blocked by Couture.
Igwe connects with a right hand. Couture shakes it off.
Couture takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Couture drives through and clinches with Igwe against the cage.
Couture lands a shoulder strike.
Igwe content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Couture tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Igwe scores with a shot to the side of Couture's head.
Couture throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Igwe blocks it with crossed arms.
Igwe lands a body punch in the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Couture.
Igwe blocks a body shot from Couture.
Couture breaks from the clinch.
Igwe uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Igwe avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Igwe looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Couture definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Igwe slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Couture ducks under a wild hook from Igwe.
Couture takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Igwe looks to land a right hand but Couture moved out of range.
Couture tries to clinch but Igwe is having none of it.
Igwe keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The fighters circling - Igwe throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Igwe looks to throw the jab but Couture is out of range.
Couture misses the shot to the body.
Nice defenses there by Couture.
Couture tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Igwe paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Couture throws a body shot but no joy.
Igwe lands a big right hand that sends Couture crashing to the mat! Igwe stays standing though and waves Couture back to his feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Igwe misses with a wild combination.
Couture throwing a counter right hand but Igwe manages to avoid it.
Couture ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Igwe throws a series of punches but Couture avoids them all with ease.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Igwe's corner calls for a 1-2. Igwe obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Igwe waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Couture.
Couture misses with a hook to the body
enabling Igwe to counter with a crisp jab.
Couture throws a body shot but no joy.
A big left from Igwe misses.
Igwe drops Couture with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Couture looks back up at him and smiles so Igwe waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Couture is rocked!
Couture throws a body kick that misses.
Igwe lands a big right hand that sends Couture crashing to the mat! Igwe stays standing though and waves Couture back to his feet!
Oh Couture is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Igwe misses with a looping right.
Couture blocks a jab.
Couture seems to have got his legs back now.
Couture throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Igwe stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Igwe swings for the body but Couture moves out of range.
Couture wants to clinch.
Couture throws a body punch but Igwe moves out of range.
Igwe lands with a cross.
Igwe throws a lazy right hand but Couture sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Couture connects with a body shot that sends Igwe's belly button to the back.
Igwe sends Couture crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Igwe is motioning to the referee to let Couture up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Couture tries to work over Igwe's front leg with a kick but Igwe checks it.
Couture is looking to wear down Igwe with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Igwe goes for a small jab and connects. Now Igwe goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Couture stumbles back but Igwe runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Couture to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Couture will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Uche Igwe!
