Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lobsang Tsering (ranked 1634 p4p, 24811 weight class) and Hassan Fezzik (ranked 97 p4p, 220 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Lobsang Tsering! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hassan Fezzik! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Atkins and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fezzik clinches. Tsering has clasped his hands together around Fezzik's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Fezzik tries to improve position but can't. Tsering is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Fezzik really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tsering. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tsering tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tsering has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! A lull in the action here. Fezzik is looking to regain half guard here but Tsering keeps moving and retains side control. Fezzik regains half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tsering is thwarting Fezzik's attempts to control the position. Fezzik wants to get back to full guard. Fezzik told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Fezzik is looking to control Tsering's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fezzik avoid being mounted?
That's one minute gone in the round. Fezzik might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tsering haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Fezzik tries to get to full guard but Tsering has control of the leg. Fezzik has his hands clasped together around Tsering's back. He's all about the action. Tsering wants to take a breather but Fezzik is having none of it. Fezzik wants to get back to full guard. Tsering is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fezzik doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Tsering. Fezzik wants to get back to full guard. Tsering stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Fezzik trying to control from the bottom.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Fezzik ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tsering moves away. Fezzik misses with an uppercut
so Tsering counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tsering trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Fezzik not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Tsering is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tsering forces his way into half guard. Fezzik wants to control but Tsering is keeping busy and won't allow it. Fezzik keeps control of the position for the meantime. Fezzik is trying to maintain the position but Tsering is very close to passing his half guard. Tsering content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Tsering is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fezzik is just riding it out for now. Tsering eventually gives up the hold. Tsering is thwarting Fezzik's attempts to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Tsering is trying to work for a kimura but Fezzik is defending well.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fezzik wants to improve his position but Tsering is controlling well.
Fezzik has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tsering is working away from the top position though. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Lobsang Tsering dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Fezzik throws a body punch but Tsering moves out of range. Fezzik misses with an uppercut
and Tsering counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Tsering with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Lobsang Tsering overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Tsering is thwarting Fezzik's attempts to control the position. Tsering wants to control but Fezzik is keeping him busy. Fezzik is doing well to control the position and prevent Tsering from advancing to side control. Tsering takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Tsering trying to pass the guard but Fezzik defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fezzik keeping control of the position. Tsering not doing much here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fezzik wants to control but Tsering is keeping busy and won't allow it. Tsering is trying to control the action in half guard but Fezzik is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Fezzik is trying to get back to full guard. Tsering is looking for a kimura but Fezzik is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tsering to get the leverage. Fezzik regains full guard. Nicely done. Fezzik seems keen to control Tsering's posture. Tsering stopping the sweep attempt from Fezzik. Fezzik keeping moving, preventing Tsering from controlling successfully. Fezzik being controlled here, momentarily.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fezzik clinches up with Tsering and pushes him back against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tsering gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Tsering looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Tsering not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Tsering trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fezzik can do anything to dispel that myth. Tsering is working hard here to advance position. Fezzik trying to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fezzik wants to sweep here but Tsering controlling him for the moment. Tsering trying to control but Fezzik is working from the bottom. Tsering is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fezzik can do to turn this around? Tsering being controlled here momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fezzik's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Fezzik keeping moving, preventing Tsering from controlling successfully. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Fezzik is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Fezzik misses the shot to the body. Tsering tries to keep at a distance but Fezzik has taken the fight into the clinch. The referee calls for Fezzik to work.
Tsering has Fezzik pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Tsering pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Fezzik tumbling to the mat - Tsering dives into Fezzik's guard. Tsering passes into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tsering sitting and controlling from the half guard. Fezzik is trying to get back to full guard. Fezzik is not content to let Tsering control the position. Fezzik slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Tsering drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Tsering seems to have locked his on tight now - Fezzik screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Tsering, as he picks up the win!
