Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Omari Morales!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bingus Khan!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan moves to clinch but Morales breaks away
and Morales cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Bingus Khan has been cut.
Khan ducks under a wild hook from Morales.
Khan misses with a double jab.
Morales really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Khan darts in trying to clinch
and Morales counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Khan throws a hook to the side of Morales's head but Morales sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Khan misses with a left hand
and Morales counters with a nice uppercut.
Morales connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Khan takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Khan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Morales moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Khan has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Morales finds it's way round the side to connect with Khan's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Morales lands a head shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Khan misses with an uppercut
and Morales counters with a huge left! Khan is in big trouble! He's backing up but Morales isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Khan from any more damage. A dominating finish by Morales!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Omari Morales!
Omari Morales decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
