Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Richard John Salvacion (ranked 23121 p4p, 23012 weight class) and Agbay Amiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richard John Salvacion had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 54 - 65 - 4, fighting out of Las Vegas, Richard John Salvacion! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 49 - 64 - 7, fighting out of Las Vegas, Agbay Amiga! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Salvacion closes this distance looking for a takedown but Amiga circles away. Amiga doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Salvacion shoots in and drives through. Amiga sprawls well. And Amiga responds with a good body kick, but Salvacion manages to step out the way in time. Salvacion fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard John Salvacion. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Amiga!
That's one minute gone in the round. Salvacion is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Amiga tries to buck Salvacion off but Salvacion is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Amiga is not content to let Salvacion control the position. Salvacion working away. Salvacion taking a breather here. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Salvacion has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga shoots in and drives through. Salvacion sprawls well. Salvacion shoots for a takedown but Amiga saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Amiga gets a takedown into half guard. Amiga slows the pace down in half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Salvacion is doing well to control the position and prevent Amiga from advancing to side control. Salvacion has a hand on Amiga's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Amiga takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga controlling from mount. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Agbay Amiga will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Salvacion shoots in but Amiga avoids the takedown attempt easily. Salvacion leaves Amiga with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga closes the distance and clinches up with Salvacion, looking for a takedown. Amiga pushes Salvacion against the cage but Salvacion circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Salvacion fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Amiga steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Salvacion is defended easily by Amiga. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard John Salvacion. That's going to take a lot out of him. Amiga tries to sprawl but Salvacion drives through with a takedown into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Amiga is pressing down on Salvacion's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Amiga can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Salvacion controls the pace. Salvacion is fighting to break Amiga's control of his arms but Amiga is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Salvacion is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Salvacion's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Amiga is controlling Salvacion's posture.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Salvacion throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Amiga was covering up waiting for the punch and Salvacion finishes the takedown easily into guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga pulls Salvacion in to control the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Richard John Salvacion dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Amiga goes for a double leg but Salvacion avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Salvacion continues to drive forward. Salvacion closes this distance looking for a takedown but Amiga circles away. Amiga let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Salvacion has a takedown stuffed. Amiga counters with a body kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Salvacion changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Amiga looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga trying to remain calm as Salvacion controls from the top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Amiga is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Salvacion off and has taken his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Salvacion wants to control his opponent's hands but Amiga gets his hands free. Amiga controlling the position well here. Salvacion rolled but Amiga kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Salvacion trying to control the action but Amiga just sinks the hooks in.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Amiga biding his time, looking for the opening.
Amiga's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Salvacion wants to control his opponent's hands but Amiga gets his hands free.

And that's the end of the fight! Agbay Amiga comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Amiga has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
