Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Arman Naji (ranked 4424 p4p, 4674 weight class) and Nicolaas Vanderloo (ranked 470 p4p, 487 weight class). Naji's entrance music is La Serenissima. A fine choice. Nicolaas Vanderloo has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Arman Naji's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanderloo walks into a stiff left hand from Naji.

and Naji counters with a nice uppercut that drops Vanderloo onto his backside! Vanderloo bounces straight back to his feet before we have a chance to even start the count. He'll get the standing 8 count anyway before we get back underway.

Naji scores a flash knockdown with a right hook that drops Vanderloo to his hands and knees! The ref pushes Naji away as he looks to land an illegal blow. Vanderloo got an extra few seconds to recover there, which could have made all the differences as he stumbles back to his feet. The referee looks into his eyes and decides to allow the bout to continue. Can he survive?!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Naji cracks Vanderloo with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Vanderloo is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Vanderloo is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Vanderloo could not beat the count!
