Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Bob Drogo (ranked 4467 p4p, 4261 weight class) and Hossein Salami (ranked 473 p4p, 445 weight class). Salami comes into a darkened arena with his song building. allhamdulilah kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Drogo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hossein Salami!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drogo misses with a straight right.
Salami jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Drogo was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Drogo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Salami looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Bob Drogo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Drogo lands with a kick to the temple. Salami shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Oh Drogo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like Hossein Salami has been cut.
Salami has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Drogo seems to have got his legs back now.
Drogo thows a leg kick but Salami checks it
and Salami counters with a really nice, stiff jab that drops Drogo onto his ass. He'll have to take the mandatory count from the referee but he's back on his feet and he seems OK to continue.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Salami counters with a perfectly timed counter left hook that drops Drogo to the mat, face first! Salami goes to the neutral corner and waits for the referee to start the count. Drogo is back to hise feet already though and looking to continue the bout! Exciting stuff!

Drogo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Salami to score with a decent uppercut.

Salami scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Drogo beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
It looks like Bob Drogo has been cut.

and Drogo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Drogo throws a low kick, looking for Salami's leg but Salami calmly moves out of range.
Salami is trying to counter with his kicks.
Drogo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Salami swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Hossein Salami will get the nod in that round, having scored multiple knockdowns.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Drogo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Salami takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Drogo throws a lazy right hand but Salami sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Drogo tries to land a front kick but Salami steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Drogo dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Salami. That did some damage!

and Salami counters with a beautiful hook that drops Drogo to the mat! Will Drogo be able to recover his senses? The referee starts the count at 3 having sent Salami to a neutral corner. 4,5,6 and Drogo is up. He looks OK to continue.

and Salami counters with a perfect left hook, dropping Drogo to the canvas. He tries to get back up quickly but his equilibrium is all over the place! He's up... he's back down again! There's no need for a count as the referee calls off the bout!
